SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All students must consistently demonstrate the proper respect and courtesy for their instructors and fellow student at all times.
- All students must take pride in their personal hygiene and appearance. Uniforms must be clean and neat, nails kept short, and all jewelry, pins, candy and other harmful items removed before class.
- All students must bow before entering or leaving the training area; shoes may not be worn.
- Students must refer to the head instructor as “Sensei” and other black belts as Mr. and Ms. at all times, in or out of the school.
- Students must greet black belts with a bow and be sure to stand and bow each time a black belt enters or leaves the training area.
- Students must have permission from the instructor in charge to enter a class in progress.
- Students must wait until the end of a current exercise to adjust an untidy uniform, then turn to the rear and adjust it quickly.
- Students are expected to promote and support the school to the best of their abilities, participating enthusiastically in all classes and activities.
- Students must assist in keeping the school clean and neat at all times. Have pride in your school’s appearance.
- Free-sparring and throwing are not allowed without adult black belt supervision, permission from the head instructor, or direct classroom instructions.
- All contact in free sparring must be controlled so as not to injure your partner. No contact is allowed to the head or groin area.
- Without the expressed written permission from the director, no student may instruct directly or indirectly to any non-member of our school. This includes assisting other students with additional kata or weapons not previously taught to them.
- No student may participate in tournaments, demonstrations, seminars or classes at other schools without prior approval of the director.
- Students must keep all fees paid to date to participate in classes and activities, including tuition and any annual membership fees.
